The Yotascale™ software provides several different periods in which to compare and identify anomalies within the analytics platform.
Period
Description
Daily
Daily anomalies detect those days on which costs of the configured dimensions are outside the day-to-day pattern/variation.
Weekly
Weekly anomalies detect weeks in which the total cost for one or more of the configured dimensions is anomalous or cannot be explained by weekly trend. These anomalies detect cases when minor variation in daily cost aggregate to a larger variation for the whole week.
Monthly
Monthly anomalies detect months in which the total cost of the month for one or more of the configured dimensions is anomalous or cannot be explained by monthly trend. These anomalies detect cases when minor variation in daily or weekly cost aggregate to a larger variation for the whole month.
