What’s new
Cost Analytics
Default to Amortized Costs:
For most users, Amortized Cost is the preferred way to analyze costs. It provides a more accurate "real" cost for each service. Amortized Cost is now the default setting when you log in to Yotascale.
Copy URL with Excluded Values:
Previously, sharing a URL wouldn't capture excluded values within a widget (separate from filters). Now, you can share a URL that includes Top Filters, Date Picker, Currency, Cost Type, and even excluded fields within each individual chart. This allows for more specific chart sharing without needing to re-apply filters on the receiving end.
Lens Navigator Faster Access to Nodes:
The Lens Navigator now allows you to select a lens and its context from a single dropdown menu. This simplifies navigation and reduces the number of clicks needed to reach a specific node.
Additionally, you can now easily navigate back to the parent node of any lens, eliminating the need to return all the way to the root level.
Tag as a Top Filter:
Due to its frequent use, the "Tag" filter has been promoted to a Top Filter for easier access.
What’s Fixed
Cost Analytics:
A timezone issue previously caused some Cost Analytics widgets to display no data for the past 12 hours. This bug has been fixed.

Yota Copilot Updates
Chat Agent Feedback:
You can now provide feedback directly on the Yota Copilot chat agent's responses! Simply give a thumbs up, thumbs down, and add a comment to explain your rating.
Lens Builder - Tag Normalization:
Yota Copilot is now smarter! It uses the context of your current lens by default. For example, if you're in the "Data Insights" team lens and ask "What is our spend?", Yota Copilot will understand you're referring to the team's spend.
Lens Builder Improvements:
Case-Insensitive Tags: No more worrying about capitalization when creating lenses with tagged resources! Yota Copilot can now recognize and combine tags regardless of uppercase or lowercase letters.
Budget & Forecast Enhancements:
Cumulative vs. Progressive Forecasts: Easily switch between viewing your budget and forecast as cumulative (total spend) or progressive (daily spend over time). This allows for a clearer understanding of your expected costs.
Lens Builder - Unallocated Costs:
When creating a new lens, Yota Copilot automatically includes an "Unallocated" node with a helpful explanation. This node captures any costs not explicitly assigned to other categories. While optional, it's generally recommended to keep the "Unallocated" node for a complete cost picture.
Lens Builder - Better Cost Category Clarity:
We now make the cost categories more clear about what are the Usage (Consumption) based costs vs. other charges.
Container Recommendations:
You can now see these identified saving recommendations always at the top of any lens (at the root level) even when no container costs are allocated.
What’s Fixed
Network Costs: when creating a network data transfer Reports, there was an issue where value would be shown duplicated. That was resolved
