How to restrict which resources are used for recommendations
A step-by-step guide to restricting recommendation resources
Prerequisites:
- Connect AWS accounts to the Yotascale™ software
- Configure tag management
Description:
EC2 and RDS resources can be filtered down to a more specific set of resources by blacklisting (filtering out) those resources which are not relevant or desired.
Steps to complete:
- Navigate to the Recommendations view by clicking your initials in the top right of the page
- Click "Account Settings" from the drop-down menu
- From the sub-navigation pane select "Recommendations"
- Expand the Blacklist section in the left panel
- Make any desired modifications to the blacklist
- Click "Save Changes" in the top right
